Man finds dead wife in creek

A 24-year-old woman was found dead in Nadi on Thursday.
Police say the woman was alone at home while her husband was working on their farm. On his return, he discovered his wife missing and conducted a search. He later found her body floating in the nearby creek at about 7pm.
Police are awaiting the autopsy to confirm the cause of her death.
Meanwhile, police are also investigating the death of a taxi driver at Veisari. The man's body was found hanging from a bridge.
Police are treating the case as murder.
