Further afield you will find a number of beautiful beaches at different spots around the island, Paleokastritsa, Aghios Georgios, Glyfada, Aghios Gordis are just some of the attractive beaches on the north-west side of the island. The beaches of Sidari, Roda, Acharavi, Kassiopi, Nissaki, Barbati, Ipsos and Dassia are on the north-east coast.

The Corfu Club is situated roughly in the centre of the island, in an area known as Tzavros, 8 km. from the town of Corfu.

Transport from here to town and back is frequent.

In this area, not far away, are two large supermarkets and the most famous bakery in Corfu.

In Corfu town you can visit the two old Venetian fortresses and admire its splendid, traditional atmosphere.

Shopping is a delight in the town's lively market.

You will find plenty of tavernas and restaurants at Gouvia and in the area of Dassia, as well as in other parts of Corfu.
